RON

Remote Online Notarization is a quick and convenient way to get your documents notarized anywhere in the US. These sessions can take as little as 15 minutes from the convenience of your preferred location. Just scan or upload your digital document to the legal and safe platform designed specifically for online notarizations.

Once you open your email invitation to start the session, and your device is fully operational with a working camera and microphone, you will need to verify your identity.

You will need a valid, government-issued PHOTO ID such as:

  • Drivers License
  • State Issued ID
  • Passport (US or Foreign)
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Certificate of US Citizenship
  • Military ID

You must also pass a KBA (Knowledge Based Authentication) to prove your identity. You will be given 2 minutes to get 4/5 questions correct or you will have to wait 24 hours to try again.

In place of, or in addition to KBA, there is also Biometric Authentication. This requires you to take a picture of yourself during the session to be compared to the picture you upload of your PHOTO ID as a way to authenticate your identity.

Once your identity is verified, the session may continue and your electronically notarized document will be available on the secured platform and you can download it from there.

*These sessions, similar to a zoom call, are recorded in place of filling out a journal of notarial acts in order to protect you and the Notary.*

LOAN SIGNING

RON and IPEN notarizations are great alternatives to traditional loan signings. Without the stack of paper, multiple copies incase of mistakes, shipping fees/wait times, this makes for quick and efficient loan signings.

Following the identity verification process for either RON or IPEN (as stated in their respective sections), closings are easier than ever. Through the State and Federal compliant platform, it provides multiple layers of security ensuring your signature and documents are tamper-proof. Since the session is recorded for the electronic journal of notarial acts, this also serves as proof of transaction.

You can be anywhere in the US (where circumstances allow) to complete a loan signings through RON.

Completing your documents through this method also allows for the Title and Escrow Companies to receive the completed documents and session recording immediately after the signing is complete. By CC’ing them in the session, it gives them direct access through the secured online platform.
